Our Mission: Happier Dogs, Confident Handlers
Welcome to Tailored K9 Solutions LLC! We’re glad you have stopped by.
Have you noticed this trend in your search for dog training? It seems like a lot of trainers are doing group training lectures and pack walks; others are meeting for lessons indoors; other trainers offer to work magical wonders behind closed doors while the dog is in boarding.
What happened to the dog trainers who are willing to take the lead and do hands-on work in the real world? Why is it so difficult to get someone to help you, in the actual environment that you need help?
We believe that Seattle needs better access to real-world dog behavior experts, and we are ready to help!
We are committed to bringing a high-class option and an old-school work ethic! As long as our safety protocols are followed, no dog is too dangerous to evaluate for training.
The prong collar has been used for dog training for generations, but only a small handful of talented dog trainers know how to use them properly. As a result, finding an experienced trainer for local dog owners proves difficult! Matt founded Tailored K9 Solutions LLC to give his community access to expert dog training services with easy scheduling and at a fair price. He is honored to help you reach your training goals - and has the experience to do it.
At Tailored K9 Solutions LLC, we are passionate about dogs and helping owners to better understand and manage dog behavior. We have spent many years learning and improving on our skills, and helping many dogs & owners along the way. We strongly believe in the power of dog training to forge a better relationship between dogs and owners, and through this we have seen thousands of dogs blossom into better versions of themselves. It is our life’s passion to solve dog problems and find meaningful solutions, and we’re really excited to help you!

With help from Matt we were able to accomplish our goals for our dog. He is more confident now and we trust him off leash because of the training we received.

I am super grateful. Matt is the Jedi Master of service dog training. To learn from Matt how to develop the bond of handler/dog was difficult for me at first and required a lot of hard work and commitment - but it is so incredibly rewarding - I cannot thank them enough for giving me a new outlook on life with my dog. Best decision I ever made.

I have a Pitt mix and throughout the last few years she’s become very reactive and aggressive towards other people and dogs. For the last year or so I have been working with Matt, and he has done wonders for her. I used to be so scared to take her on walks and would avoid them at all cost, but I can confidently say that she is a completely different dog. She listens so much more, she is basically not reactive towards people unless they give her a reason to be, and with dogs I am able to take her attention away from them and back to me. She has definitely become a much happier and healthier dog and I literally owe it to Matt for helping me and getting my confidence back. It has been life changing!

As a Veteran I wanted a dog to not only be well trained but be on point as my ADA service dog, but was turned down because of the breed I wanted. Ace is a blue nose pitbull and is not only an ambassador for the breed but one that surprises everyone with his calm well behaved demeanor around other dogs and people. Matt’s approach to training focusing on the relationship was key for me. To this day Ace does what is asked not because there is a treat in my pocket (Ace has never received a single treat in training) but because we have a mutual respect for one another. Ace has changed my life and I have Matt to thank for helping me develop Ace into the amazing service dog he is today.
